About Monkeyboy
monkeyboy is the work of Dave Remnant — a lifelong graphic designer and image-maker based in Cornwall.
Long before AI entered the picture, I spent years creating visual work using traditional digital tools. That background still shapes everything I do today — composition, tone, and the instinct for when an image feels right.
AI hasn’t replaced that process. It’s simply another tool — one that still requires direction, judgement, and a lot of iteration to produce something worth keeping.
Every piece here has been carefully developed and selected. Many attempts are discarded before one makes the cut.
The result is a collection of atmospheric, often moody interpretations of Cornwall — not as a postcard, but as a feeling.
And yes — there’s a real person behind it.
